Friday Tigers screened in 2013 at the New Zealand International Film Festival where it won Best Film and the Audience Award. The film also screened at the 2013 Melbourne International Film Festival.

Ana fights to create a fantasy world for her daughter in a bid to shield her from the pain of a past relationship. But an unexpected friendship shows Ana that she can merge her not-so-perfect reality with the make-believe world she has created for her child.

Written, directed, and starring Aidee Walker, Friday Tigers is a charming but honest story about the harsh reality of life and the lengths we go to conceal the truth from ourselves.
