Gloriavale

GLORIAVALE is an observational documentary by filmmakers Noel Smyth and Fergus Grady (Camino Skies). With never before seen home video footage, the documentary follows the Ready family as they mount a ground-breaking legal case against the community’s powerful leaders.

The film world premiered at Whānau Mārama: New Zealand International Film Festival (NZIFF) 2022 and was the NZIFF Auckland Programme Closing Night Film. Gloriavale also screened at Australian film festivals such as CinefestOZ Film Festival, Brisbane International Film Festival, Adelaide Film Festival, and Byron Bay Film Festival.
