In a small house deep in the New Zealand bush an obsessed hunter has created a fantasy world of mounted animal trophies. But within this surreal menagerie of the mind, the animal world conspires to thwart his efforts, and he is faced with his greatest ever hunting challenge.
In 1993, The Singing Trophy was awarded with the ‘Technical Award’ at the Cannes International Film Festival. Spanning both shorts and feature films, the award honours technical achievements in images and sound.
